​ELA Program Director

​

Resurrection Catholic School is in search of a qualified individual to serve as Literacy Coach during the 2025/2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be faith-filled and dedicated to providing quality instruction for students of all abilities integrating the mission of Resurrection Catholic School and the KC Archdiocese in all teaching, coaching, and classroom activities to benefit students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. 

​

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing professional development.

  • Engaged in data driven instructional coaching for grades K-8.

  • Align curriculum and instruction with science of reading.

  • Organize and administer student assessments.

  • Collect, dissect and communicate student data.

  • Collaborate with teaching staff.

  • Participate in all reporting, monitoring, or evaluation activities.

  • Regularly communicate with teachers and staff regarding student needs, interventions, and progress towards goals.

  • Commit to ongoing faith formation and professional growth. 

  • Foster the spiritual development of students by modeling Catholic doctrine, values, and morals.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field. Masters Degree preferred.

  • Kansas Teaching License

  • Elementary teaching experience a plus.

  • Experience teaching reading a plus.

  • Experience with collecting, dissecting and communicating data a plus.

  • Experience in assessment administration a plus.

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with students, staff, administrators and parents.

  • Basic knowledge with Google Suite software (docs, sheets, drive, etc.)
